Pediatric Health Care nurses will assist you in evaluating the need for more comprehensive care management. Our parents have
found telephone triage services to be an effective means to discuss and evaluate medical care options. In addition, our website contains a lot of valuable information that can help you manage your child's care. We invite you to take
full advantage of this valuable service.

24-Hour Access to Care/Coverage |

We share care/coverage with our colleagues at "Newton-Wellesley Family Pediatrics" on weekends. Our collaboration with
colleagues allows us to provide you high quality 24-hour access to needed care after hours. The answering service will
direct you to the practice which is open on the weekend.

After-hours Nurse Triage for Complete Coverage |

Our after-hours telephone service is staffed by experienced pediatric triage nurses using standardized pediatric protocols.
The protocols have been tested and used for over twenty years with success and now available to you on our website. When you need medical help after hours, the nurses
will give you advice and assist you to decide if you need a physician visit that night, the next day, or can handle the problem
with home care. One of our physicians or our coverage physicians is always available on back up to the nurses.

Electronic Mail Communications |

In our continuing effort to become more accessible to you and further accommodate our families who use the Internet,
we now offer to patients a means for communicating with us through email . Use of email is for routine activities,
problems, questions, follow-up and supportive care. It is not for emergency and urgent care. As this technology
emerges we will stay abreast of the latest activities managed by email. Pediatric Health Care is already a leader in
providing online eServices for appropriate situations and problems. We expect to expand this service so that it can
substitute for a visit in certain situations. There will be a charge for this "eService care" when it substitutes for
an office visit. There will not be a charge for communicating with the office over administrative matters over email.

system to track your care at the hospital.

We use NextGen electronic medical record. NextGen provides improved
documentation, monitoring for missed immunizations and check-ups, instant access from multiple sites in the office, no misplaced
charts, school and camp forms at the end of the visit. We are working on incorporating technologies in our practice that will enable us to bring you better service.

Our billing company is athenahealth.com, an Internet based practice management company. We take almost all insurances.
Referrals are done on a same day or next business day basis. Payment request(s) for office visits are submitted immediately
after your services have been performed. Every attempt is made to be accurate. Please help us by updating your patient
registration information securely and confidentially.
