If your problem is a serious accident or injury, seizure, difficulty breathing, fever under 3 months of age etc. call
911 or go directly to an Emergency Room.
We have added this self-triage feature to help parents and patients manage appropriate problems when the office is closed.
Research has shown that 85% of after hours calls are not urgent. We would like to help you decide what issues need to come to our
attention at night and what you can manage on your own until the next day by giving you information you can use.
The protocols included on this web site are the same ones used by the nurse triage services. You can search them by topic.
After you read them, if you have unanswered questions or would like to speak to the nurse, call the answering service at
781-979-2470. They will direct your call. If the issue can not be answered satisfactory by the nurse triage service, the doctor on
call will be contacted.
